Halloween is coming! On October 30, at 5:30, celebrate the season at the Norwichtown Green and learn about the darker side of Norwich's more than 350-year history.
The Norwich Sunrise Rotary Club and the Norwich Noontime Rotary club have taken over the sponsorship of this popular event as a fundraiser for the Rotary Foundation. The Foundation will be dedicating these funds towards support of Polio Plus, a project of Rotary International that is eradicating polio worldwide.
After the tour, enjoy Bloody Apple Cider and cookies, as Faye Ringel, author, tells spine-chilling tales. Reservations are required, as there is a limit of 100 people for this tour. A donation of $15 is requested. To purchase tickets, contact L. Fowler Insurance Agency, 230 Salem Tpke., Norwich CT 06360 or call 860-889-7740.
