Good Evening Sunrise Rotarians:

Our Monday February 22nd meeting was held in the Library of Greeneville Elementary school. Our thanks to our host Dr. Nardone, and her staff, for their gracious hospitality. Also a very big Thank You to our future President, and provider of delicious fratattas Jan Mallett.

Dr. Nardone led us in fellowship this morning with some good natured ribbing of the gentlemen. We were pleased to have some wonderful visitors with us this morning including, Dr Graves dear friend Turner, who has been a rotarian since 1968. We also had Mary Guertin a dear friend of both Dr Graves and Nate Woldman join us. Mary is with TVCCA, and is a proposed member and was also at our holiday party in December. We had 2 guest speakers this morning, my good friend Andrew Nollman from the Noon time club, who came to speak to us this morning about The Rotary Career Resource Directory, and Shelia Osga, who is leading the team running the Confident Conversations program every Thursday at Greeneville Elementary.

Tom Cummings collected Happy Dollars for us this morning, Mark Graves gave a Happy Dollar for Kathy Chartier her wisdom in knowing the proper time to leave a conference.  Many Happy Dollars were given for the tasty and delicious Fratattas, provided for breakfast this morning. One of our newest Rotarians, Denny Gibbs gave a Happy Dollar for the reporting of pitchers and cathcers to Spring Training.

Andrew Nollman instructed us on the Rotary Career Resource Directory, and gave us the opportunity to fill out the forms right there on the spot. Andrew was delighted at the response from the group, and promised to let us know when those are sent out to the local schools.

Sheila Osga, then began to tell us about the Confident Conversation Program, and at this point over 50 people have registered for the program. That number does not include the over 20 children who arrive each session and daycare is provided for. The daycare provider Ms. Lehman a 2nd grade teacher at Greeneville Elementary volunteers her time with her daughter.

Our next meeting is also at the Greeneville Elementary School on March 1st at 7am.

Lets make Rotary Relevant in our lives, and our Community.
