Our Monday meeting was called to order by Pres Mary a little after 7am.  Mike gave us some food for thought during Fellowship.  Be especially careful in dealings with Attorneys.  Jan took Happy Dollars and found everyone was HAPPY Les had a great weekend and UCONN is in the final four.  Our guest speaker was Robert Farwell who is Excutive Director of Otis Library.  The library has doubled its space to 40,000 square feet.  Use has more than doubled to over 700 visits per day.  The City's funding will be decreased by $170,000.00 (15%) which will result in a reduction of hours open, materials purchased and number of employees.  This at a time when the library is seeing an increased use of services and programs due to the economic downturn. 

The installation Banquet will be held on 6/20/09 at Marianne Nardone's home in Shelter Harbor, RI.  We will be giving more details as they are worked out.  MARK YOUR CALANDER!
