President Mary called our regular Monday meeting to order a little after 7am.  Jon had fellowship this morning.  He regaled us with the invention of the shopping cart in 1935.  Nate was able to give a personal perspective.  Jon also had some history of Tom at an earlier time in his life.  Accuracy yet to be determined.  The Buck collected Happy Dollars this morning.  It was noted that perhaps Tom is being maligned a bit to often.  Today was a business meeting so we had no speaker.  The Installation Banguet will be held June 20th at Marianne's in Shelter Harbor, RI.  It is to be an early evening affair.  More info as it becomes available.  The board voted down a motion that the President's golfing membership be paid for by the club.  Chris will ask for reconsideration.  The Golf Committee will meet 6/14 (tomorrow) 6pm @ Mad Science in Jewett City.  There will be no Confident Conversation this week but will resume next week 6pm @ NFA with the last meeting to be held on 4/29.  We are still looking for a few strong backs for the Dragon Boat Races on the 6th of June.  Contact Mike Jewell.
