Good Morning Rotarians:

Our meeting was called to order at 7:05 am by our President. Anticipation and excitement rushed through the room, as all realized Mike Jewell had fellowship this week. Mike, all the while being heckled by Dr. Graves, completed his task, and delivered joy and happiness to all.

Our Happy Dollars were collected this week by Jim Troeger, many of our rotarians, seemed unable to focus due to the large basket of chocolate covered strawberries provided by edible arrangements that was sitting at the front of the room. President Chris held off the attacking forces( Les ) who were hellbent on sieging the strawberries before the presentation began.

George Mattern reported on our River Clean Up Project, 52 bags of trash were pulled out of the river, by our morning club. Awesome job to all involved.

Michelle Hinton owner of Edible Arrangements in Norwich was our Guest Speaker, and did such a wonderful job. Michelle thank you for the Chocolate Covered Strawberries, as well as the prizes for the raffle.

In addition to Michelle, Dino Tudica of Exterior Solutions joined us a a guest this week. If you have the chance to see Dino, or Michelle in the community, please thank them for joining us at Rotary.

Our speaker this Monday is Melissa Biggins from Inner Balance. Melissa will be talking about Stress Management, and the role Massage can play in that. We will need volunteers, so please come early and come prepared.

Upcoming Event:

Oct 16th 6pm - Wine Tasting at the Heritage Trail Winery in Lisbon. The event tickets are $20, a great place to bring someone you think would be a great rotarian. You can get your tickets this Monday Morning at the Meeting.
