Our regular Monday meeting was called to order by President Mary Reed.  Mike Jewell presented some words of wisdom by Thomas Jefferson for fellowship.  Dave Oat collected "Happy Dollars".  Jackie made it back safely from Egypt and had a wonderful time.  George made it back from a week of powder skiing a few dollars lighter but apparently intact.  Most all were happy!  Jonathan Inducted (not induced) new member  Bonnie Brouwer into the fold. Congratulations and welcome.  Tom acted as our speaker this morning and gave us a brief history of where the term "Swamp Yankee" came from and a bit of a defination.  It appears Jim's picture is next to the word in the dictionary. 

This weeek will be busy.  Board meeting Monday evening, Golf Committee Tuesday (at George's office) and Literacy on Wednesday evening at NFA.  Mike woke up enough to collect the raffle prize and the meeting was adjourned.
