Norwich Sunrise Rotary - A Message from the Club President

Thank you for your interest in the Norwich Sunrise Rotary Club. We are proud to be a part of Rotary International the world's first service club organization. Rotary International has more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio.

The motto of Rotary is Service Above self. Here at the Norwich Sunrise Rotary, you can see that attitude displayed in the service projects we have planned locally:

- Distributing Dictionaries to 3rd grade students in 10 local communities.

- Financial Support of Local Food Banks.

- Scholarships given to local High Schools.

- Confident Conversation program in partnership with Norwich Public Schools.

- River Clean Up Projects.

- Mini Grants for local educational programs targeting health and education.

- Partnership with New London Health Collaborative.

- Greeneville Playground Project

- Landa 615 Project

- Angel Food Network

- Local Food Pantry Donations

These are just a few of the projects we are involved with locally in our community. We are proud to be actively involved in our local community, and invite you to come and make a difference with us.
